James Caan CBE and Recruitment Entrepreneur’s latest partnership, recruitment agency Bohemian HR, brings something new to the HR market

Bohemian HR recently launched in partnership with award-winning investor Recruitment Entrepreneur’s REflex offering. Specialising in Senior and Executive HR talent, Bohemian HR thrives on being unconventional, championing kindness, wellbeing, and the personal touch.

 

At the helm of Bohemian HR is Jenny Scrivener. With more than two decades of HR recruitment experience behind her, Jenny decided to set up her own business at the beginning of 2021. Her expertise encompasses retained search, permanent, and interim assignments, and she’s worked extensively with specialist requirements in areas such as OD and Reward.

Bohemian HR will build on this expertise, offering services ranging from Employee Relations and Learning & Talent to Change & Transformation and Diversity & Inclusion.

Bohemian HR’s ethos is rooted in the five pillars of wellbeing: Connect; Keep Learning; Be Active; Give; and Take Notice. From this, founder Jenny Scrivener hopes to attract clients and candidates who are all on the same page when it comes to the future of work and the importance of incorporating kindness and wellbeing into how businesses operate. Jenny prides herself on finding senior and executive professionals exciting, creative, and unique opportunities within the world of HR.

On the launch of the business, Jenny commented, “I’ve wanted to set up on my own for a long time but there was always an element of not being ready or it not being the right time. My sister Kathryn passed away in December and that was the trigger for me to do something for myself; I realised life is too short and you never know what’s around the corner.

“Recruiters all share a common goal – placing the best candidates into roles. What sets Bohemian HR apart is that we focus on the person as a whole. When dealing with candidates, we don’t just match skillsets; we discuss how the role would impact their life and if it aligns with their values and passions.
